Our Story
Everything felt like a fairy tale from the very start. Nico captivated me with his French charm and gentlemanly ways. I fell in love with him at first sight, thinking to myself, "Even if I only get to be with him for a week, I’ll be grateful for that."
Our journey began at Heaven Club in Prague, where we danced together surrounded by friends I had known for years. We shared countless unforgettable dinners, picnics with Bertrand, birthday parties, weddings, and so much more, always with our friends by our side. To those of you who will be with us at our wedding, and to those who are in our hearts even if they can’t be here, we thank you. You’ve made this period of blossoming love between Nico and me so incredibly special. We had so much fun and felt free in each other’s company.
We owe a special thank you to Lucka and Anthony, who introduced us. Because of them, our love story began like a fairy tale, in Heaven.
The greatest proof of love
The birth of our daughter, Laura, is the greatest proof of our love. As The Little Prince wisely says, "What is essential is invisible to the eye," and our love became something beyond words when we first felt the miracle of becoming parents. We were blessed to see our daughter, and in that moment, our hearts were filled with unimaginable joy. We are incredibly happy and grateful parents, and we owe a deep thank you to my mom, Dana, for all her help and support. We are fortunate to raise Laura together, with both Czech and French families, sharing with her the best of each culture.
A fairytale proposal in mother nature
A few years later, Nico eventually proposed to me in the most magical way, with our beloved daughter, Laura, by our side. He chose the most beautiful island on this planet, a place of incredible strength, where rocks met waves, clean sand stretched as far as the eye could see, and nature surrounded us in its purest form. In his hand, he held a magical amethyst stone, wrapped in white gold. Words can’t fully capture the depth of the gratitude and blessing I felt in that moment. I am so thankful to my beloved man, Nico, and our precious daughter for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful journey with them. I am proud to be their mum and future wife, and together, we share a love that transcends space and time.
Our natural Wedding
Everything in life is energy, and on August 23, 2025, we will transform our love into a radiant light, visible for all to see in the heart of nature. Our ceremony will take place on the mossy forest floor of Stodola Borohrádek, where we will unite as one family under the name Hédin. This day will deepen our love with trust, humility, and a spirit of unity. Perhaps, in this moment, a new soul will be welcomed into the world, embraced joyfully by both of us as Martina and Nicolas Hédin.
